She is part of a coalition looking deeply into it and it is even more dangerous than she suspected. SEL is more proof that our youth's "mental health", however the left defines it, has become more important to the powers that be than phonics or math, and no wonder - teaching children how to be "better citizens" by teaching them how to react and go along to get along is merely a front for them to accept whatever Marxist ideals get shoved down their throats.  We also discuss how parents are more afraid of the trans agenda than they are of the gay agenda. How do we get them to understand that it's all designed to destroy kids' hearts and minds? Is it a case of "at least I'm not on drugs, Mom" kind of reasoning? An in demand speaker and author, she founded Mission America, a Christian pro-family organization tracking current cultural issues. She is the author of two Christian books, Maybe He’s Not Gay: Another View on Homosexuality and Not My Child: Contemporary Paganism and the New Spirituality.

Mary chats with evangelist Ray Comfort on his new book, "50 Years of Open-Air Preaching: Everything I've Learned".  Ray's compassion for the lost is his defining ministry characteristic. Having gone face to face with the public, and with a message most either haven't thought about on any given day, or are outright hostile to, he has no doubt learned many things about humans. But mostly, he understands the war we are in, the idea that we are pilgrims and strangers in a hostile land as a whole. Can any of us take on the public square? Are we equipped? What does it take to overcome the fear of man? All this and more will be discussed in the first half of our podcast. In the 2nd half, Mary will take on a handful of headlines to further prove, if need be, that the world is careening out of control and at least a small segment is looking for the Saviour, as opposed to any old man or devil to make sense of it all.

Mary chats with mission aviation support specialist Daniel Morell. Many have heard of EAA AirVenture that takes place every July in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, as aircraft enthusiasts from all over the world come to town to celebrate airplanes of every kind. What people may not know is that a contingent of Christ-centered mission aviators also come to town, and we want to find out all they are accomplishing to further the gospel via the air. Using aircraft to spread the gospel in remote areas seems to be the last link to finishing our Great Commission. We look at organizations like MASA and JAARS and talk about how God is using them in these days. JAARS own mission statement is, "We reduce barriers, ease burdens and deliver God’s Word. We do that by training, equipping, deploying and sustaining individuals, teams and stations to aid in the work of proclaiming the gospel to the whole creation.". Till the whole world hears!

JB Hixson is back with us to talk about "gaslighting", a term that was not in the American vernacular until a 1944 classic film noir of the same name, in which a young woman is so thoroughly emotionally manipulated by her husband that she eventually questions her own sanity. Today, the word is often used in reference to political campaign tactics, where it certainly applies - but there is so much more to it now because of social media. Add to that a mainstream media that is carrying water for one particular political party for their own ends, and what do you have? Gaslighting on a national - and really on a global - level. The depths of delusion and smoke and mirrors in this world is on a genius level - as only the god of this world could accomplish as we draw closer to the end of the age.
