When Moreno's attempt to disable the sphere fails, they turn to bypassing the visual hallucinations caused by the syndrome. T'Venn works out some new approaches to the problem, allowing the crew to operate. Meanwhile on the planet, Captain Escarra and the badly injured Commander Ch'Villiq manage to make it to the Thulsan temple/bunker, where more of the past is revealed...
