Valkyrie makes its way home, while Capt. Stanfield deals with being on Earth.

The ship is docked at Starbase 20 for an inspection. Lt. Fox is offered a new position aboard the new USS Reliant. Will he take it? What memories from the old Reliant will it bring back?

While Valkyrie responds to a distress call from a Nebula, the ships is hit with a null power field and is in danger of crashing on a planetary surface.

Valkyrie made contact with the Cardassians, and they want Valkyrie to leave immediately. Captain Stanfield has to deal with the Cardassians and the Bajorans during First Contact.

The Valkyrie is ordered to change course and make first contact with the Bajorans. But not all seems to go as planned.
