Star Wars Lads

In a different sort of episode from the Star Wars Lads, we discuss each era of Star Wars canon, and how to dive deeper into each. We discuss the High Republic, the Age of Republic, the Age of Rebellion and the Age of Resistance! We also give our thoughts regarding the material of each era, and whether books, comics, shows, cartoons or films will further define these different eras. Hi y'all, and welcome back to another episode of the Star Wars Lads! Well, actually, welcome to the new-look Star Wars Lads! We're playing around with our format for balance and creativity, like any true Jedi, so we decided to create an episode where we look back on Star Wars before The Force Awakens up till now. We discuss all the content that has been out, the changes in the fandom and more, before concluding with a group discussion centered around the question of which medium Star Wars is best suited to- live action shows, or movies? Hope y'all enjoy, we had a blast getting even more personal with Star Wars than ever before.

This week on the Star Wars Lads, we do a full comic-exclusive episode! We dive back into the High Republic with Marvel's High Republic #3 and IDW's High Republic Adventures #2, which give fantastic looks at new characters just introduced, as well as some of the big stars of the first High Republic novels. We give a summary and our thoughts on each, before shifting hears to the fantastic fan-comic adaptation of Colin Trevorrow's "Duel of the Fates" script, discussing the great work and our thoughts on both the Duel of the Fates and JJ Abrams' "The Rise of Skywalker." Give it a listen, and make sure to read all three fantastic comics when you can!

Welcome back to the second part of this week's Top 10 rankings of the Sith and Dark Side users! The Star Wars lads continue in this part with deeper and more intricate discussions, fitting of the top 5 evil Force users in Star Wars Canon and Legends! We go deep into more Legends and characters that are technically canon, as well as some of the heavy hitters in all of Star Wars! Make sure to watch the first part first! The Force is strong with this one!

To counter last week's two-parter episode, this week's two-parter from the Star Wars Lads is all about the Top 10 Sith! It's a bit harder to do a full canon Top 10 of Sith, so we expanded it to more of a "Dark Side Users" list, so we were able to fit in some great characters from both Canon and Legends that aren't strictly "Sith." We give our 10-6 rankings in this first part! Hope y'all enjoy, and tune in for the second part coming out on Friday! Through victory, our chains are broken!

The Star Wars Lads strike back with another episode this week! This is the second part of this week's two-parter on our Top 10 Jedi! We cover our 5-1 rankings here, and while we all had very similar selections, we made it a point to express our admiration for all of these characters and Jedi as best as we could. Trust always in the Force!

The Star Wars Lads are back in action this week, and we've got another Top 10! This week, we discuss our top 10 Jedi, and we rank our 10-6 in this episode! Part 2 will drop this Friday with our 5-1!

The Star Wars Lads follow up discussing our top 10-6 clones, who we all love and cherish, to the big hitters found in the prequel trilogy and The Clone Wars television show! We really try our best to shine a light on why we think these top 5-1 clones are more than just clones, and why they're some of the greatest characters in all of Star Wars! For the Republic! 

We're dropping two episodes this week on the Star Wars Lads! We begin the first part discussing Charles Soule's "Starlight: Go Together" Star Wars Insider short story, which is a prologue and an epilogue to his book, "Light of the Jedi." We then move onto our big topic of the week, where we give our rankings of our Top 10 Clone Troopers! Because of how long the discussion went, we decided to share our 10-6 rankings first, with the 5-1 coming later in the week. We close by discussing the big news that came out of The Mandalorian this week, giving an update on what happened there. Hope y'all enjoy!
