Star Wars Sessions

We had the pleasure of being joined by the legend that is Ahmed Best this week. The man behind the galaxy's most charming Gungan joined us to talk about getting the gig of Jar Jar Binks, meeting George Lucas, experiences on set, the disgusting backlash and his own personal redemption (plus more!) It was a real honour for us to chat with Ahmed and we can't thank him enough for giving his time. We hope you enjoy our chat with a gracious and lovely dude.

In the FIRST ever Star Wars Roundtable Sessions, we are joined by Dan Sexton (SWS rapper), Isaac Pevy (SWS graphic and art dude) and Shaun Hudson (SWS brother) to discuss the possibility of a Solo 2 on Disney+, the casting of Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano and Joby Harold being given the writer's chair for Kenobi. Unfiltered and opinionated chat, come sit with us and see if you agree.

The lads returned to BBC Essex on March 11th 2020 to discuss their recent episode with Ken Napzok, the show's roots, future plans and more. Hosted by the awesome Helen Scott, it was a pleasure and a good laugh once again.

In February 2020, the lads were invited to the beauty of Hullbridge, Essex to the now-christened Caravan of Courage to watch an original cut of Star Wars (1977). That in itself was awesome, however, the caravan was a trove of pop culture wonder and nostalgic beauty all owned by the legend that is Matthew Paveley (Paveley Amidala). Jabba and Master Blighwalker chatted with OT Matt and ST Jack about the original cut, The Mandalorian, the Sequel Trilogy, The Rise of Skywalker and the different generations of Star Wars fans in the same place. It was a great chat with beer, crisps and a place full of awesomeness.

We're talking all about the financial returns of the Disney-era movies so far - the sequel trilogy and the standalones - as well as assessing the tenures of Kathleen Kennedy and Bob Iger. Has money equalled success? What about the output quality? What next? Plus we take YOUR opinions and end with our famous SWS Game.
