Star Wars Sessions

We're back in the Falcon and this time we're going BACK in time! We were given a fourth draft 1976 script for 'The Star Wars', a call sheet and 24 rare black and white images from the set recently so we're chatting about them and how different the franchise could have been had George stuck with this draft! It's a bit bonkers. Plus, there's some Benioff and Weiss, Ewan McGregor and Mandalorian chat AND The Bantina too.

The 1976 items were loaned by London artist and legend James Cooper. Check out his art at artbycooper.co and at instagram.com/cooperinlondon. He's a proper KING.

Matt, Luke and producer Isaac were let loose upon MCM Comic Con at London’s ExCel Centre and what a weekend it was. In between flashing press badges to escape queues, the lads interviewed every Star Wars fan they could find – including members of the 501st, cosplayers, merch stand hosts and anyone wearing any SW gear – with questions concerning The Rise Of Skywalker, Porgs, Jawas, Director Krennic, The Mandalorian, Kanjiklub, Beefcake Kylo and so much more. There’s even a cheeky stop to watch some live FIFA 2020 action too. Check it out and relive the awesome experience with us.

Shout out to The Fox bar as well, what a place

JJ Abrams has promised that The Rise of Skywalker will answer a ton of questions covering the entire saga (sweet!) so we're asking - what should he answer and what could he answer too. On top of that, we're talking Tony Gilroy returning for Cassian, some Mandalorian talk, drinkin' in The Bantina and our infamous end game too.

The greatest teacher, failure is. This week, we’re breaking down THAT scene with Luke Skywalker and Yoda from The Last Jedi from start to finish. Page turners they were not, but an ear tickler this episode is. There’s some Resistance talk, more on Rian Johnson plus The Journey to The Rise of Skywalker begins! Throw in YOUR contributions and our wonderful end game and, well, it’s just pure SPICE

This week, we are discussing whether technology was a help OR hindrance to George Lucas' Star Wars movies (including the Special Editions). Also retro games coming back, a prequel plot hole papered over, some Snoke and whether Dexster Jettster or Yoda would be a better in-flight passenger.

This week also sees the debut of our brand spanking new branding thanks to the legends over at Dovetail Designs. Check out their work and if you need graphic, logo or web designs, head over to dovetail.design and get a fresh new spin on your branding.

You can stand to see the Imperial flag raised across the galaxy? Now you don't HAVE to look up, just have a listen! We're asking whether the Empire were really the bad guys or if they just have a bad rep and seeing what you guys had to say about it. There's plenty of Mandalorian talk plus Hayden and Ian doing the rounds and the usual galactic goodness. #CheekyMandosForTheLads.
