So we're returning to the one-a-week, two-hour-show format starting immediately. I talk a little bit about why in the episode, but basically, it's just easier for me to manage, and I didn't see much of an uptick one way or another in doing two shows a week. Consider yourself notified.
Lots of international flavor this week, but also lots of classics, and a small rant from me on why I think "nü-metal" got unfairly slagged as we mourn the passing of Linkin Park's Chester Bennington.

Setlist:
It is time to deploy the greatest weapon in your groove arsenal, a mix so truly thunderously buttshakingly wiggle inducing, that you may have no choice but to get up, and, as the kids say, shake that thang.
We at Starlight Society Productions assume no responsibility for damages that you may incur due to unsupervised overextension of your glutteous maximus.

Quickly thrown together Tuesday show is quickly thrown together.

Setlist:
This month's scene show is all about grebo, a very specific substrata of music that was focused around 1988-1999 in the Midlands of the UK. There's a small number of bands in it, but some of them were quite prolific, and a number of them have returned after long absences, so it seemed like a good time to bust it out. It's a little short for a scene show, but should give you a good idea of the whole field, and inspire you to seek out some of these bands on your own.

Also, I have to include some pictures of grebo haircuts, because man, I just can't avoid that...
Seriously... go watch some of the music videos from this era and these bands and you will be amazed at wild fashion/hair they had...
