Cy: Roedd hi’n aeaf yn Llundain, ac roedd y stryd wedi’i addurno gyda golau Nadolig llachar.
En: It was winter in Llundain, and the street was decorated with bright Christmas lights.

Cy: Dydd Sul oedd hi, a roedd disgyblion Ysgol Gethin yn barod ar gyfer eu taith maes i’r Amgueddfa Wyddoniaeth.
En: It was Sunday, and the students of Ysgol Gethin were ready for their field trip to the Science Museum.

Cy: Gethin, yn llawn cyffro a nerfusrwydd, roedd yn meddwl am y darganfyddiadau newydd o’r bydysawd a oedd yn aros amdano.
En: Gethin, full of excitement and nervousness, was thinking about the new discoveries from the universe awaiting him.
