Starting from Scratch

Dan, Jack, and Josh have Tash guest host Film Addicts Anonymous's first episode.  This week's flick is Baghead(2008) directed by Jay and Mark Duplass, although it's a low-budget Mumblecore film it still had...most of the Addicts... sitting at the front of their seats.

The Film Addicts Anonymous close up its first season with, The Revenant (2012), a true bromance film that introduces bro love till death due us part.

This week on Starting from Scratch, Daniel and Tash - in Covid lockdown - break down the Poetic Strangler's film, The House That Jack Built (2019) Dir. Lars Von Trier. When we say the "Poetic Strangler" are we talking about BTK or Lars himself?

Welcome back FERDS! In this episode of Starting from Scratch, Daniel and Tash talk about Lifetime's film, "Galentine's Day Nightmare," (2021) a thrilling stalker story. Watch, rate, and send us a message or a voice message to let us know about anything we've missed!

Starting From Scratch hosts, Daniel & Tash, sit down with the vastly talented Anthony Grant. Get to know this jack of all trades – actor, writer, hip-hop artist, and voice of “We The North.” We get some solid good cop/bad cop back and forth as we dissect Anthony’s controversial & charming character in the new LifeTime movie - ‘Galentine’s Day Nightmare.’ This film is a steady thriller that will keep all gals & guys on their toes – we highly recommend watching it!

Daniel & Tash watch a B-disaster film, Arctic Blast, written by Jason Bourque and directed by Brian Trenchard-Smith. A film about family, love, and fog of ice that kills anyone that it touches.

Woah! The second film we review... and the first real interview??
I interview the writer of Arctic Blast, Jason Bourque, who loves creating apocalyptic mayhem, political documentary film and award-winning films like Black Fly! I am so honoured to be able to take up his time. More to come!

Daniel, Tash, and Tobias sit down during their first episode of Starting from Scratch, a podcast with Ferds (film-nerds) analyzing and joking around about The VelociPastor. A film with an American release in August 2019 trying way too hard to be a cult film without the cult film status.
