Harvey Penick was a golf coach, and one of the best of all time. Over the years he had worked with everyone from beginners to pros. As he grew older he decided to compile his volumes of notes into a book and pass it on to his children. A friend took his book to a publisher to see if they liked it. We can never build successful relationships if one person does all the talking. Yet we often try to build a relationship with God by doing just that. We talk when we pray but we often do not listen when we pray.
Today we look at how being open to listening to God in the way he wants to talk to us is important for building a relationship with him.
