Do you believe that God can do anything? I mean... anything. It is often too easy for us to struggle and doubt when the news is bad, or the answer is taking too long to come. But the truth is that God can do anything. And often all he asks of us is to be faithful and wait.
Today we look at the lives of Abraham and Sarah, and how they had to learn to wait to be able to receive what had been promised.

Today's episode is one of my favorites. It was originally broadcast on May 25, 2020 when the restrictions were being removed from the churches, for the first time, in the pandemic. It takes place in a small country church in rural Manitoba. It is a great story with a wonderful lesson about what going to church should be like.

Astronomers have found an asteroid that is almost completely made of gold. Of course there are some who are trying to find ways to snag this asteroid which is worth more than all the gold on earth. They are willing to spend billions to gain quadrillions. They seem to forget that you cannot take it with you. So today I offer a better option. Something more valuable than gold that you can take with you. Enjoy

We bring an abundance of worries into our lives with two simple words, "What if..." Most often we use those words when we are considering negative results or consequences.
'What if I lose my job?' What if the doctor report is bad?'
Our focus on the negative 'what if's' produces fear and worry that we do not need.
Today we talk about how to handle our, 'What if's.'

Today we look at, "Sunday Sermons," a new song from Anne Wilson. This song tells of how she grew up in the church and how much all of those sermons planted truth and hope into her heart. Her life now is a result of having God's word in her to keep her focused and moving ahead. Give a listen today, you will enjoy her story.

We often fall into the trap of thinking that our faith is a passive journey, when in fact the bible tells us that we are to 'Fight the good fight of faith.' And that. fight often calls for action on our part. Sometimes that action requires that we step outside of our comfort zone and take a risk. Today's story is all about a lady who did just that.
