David's rise to King of Israel was filled with danger and intrigue but he never forgot the lessons God had taught him as a young boy. Psalm 23 is a personal declaration of God's protection, guidance, and provision through even the most difficult stretches of his life. Often we find that the faith of a child can teach us much about our walk with God. Today's story shows us that again. A perfect game in baseball occurs when a single pitcher completes nine innings without allowing the opposing team to get on base. There can be no walks, no hits, no hit batters or anything else that may allow a runner to get on base. This has only happened 23 times in the history of Major League Baseball.
