Thank you for tuning into "Starting Small", a podcast about brand development, entrepreneurship, and innovation in the modern world. This episode is with Chelsea Moore, CEO and Co-Founder of BOXFOX. While working a tight job, a close friend of Chelsea's got sick, resulting in a stay in the hospital. Due to Chelsea's job, she was restricted on time, taking away from the opportunity to be there for her friend. To fill this void, Chelsea curated a gift box that was personable, instead of just flowers or items in a generic gift basket. This led to the inspiration to create BOXFOX as it is today, creating stronger relationships through personal gifts, powered by the simplest user experiences.
Listen, as we talk about Chelsea's up-bringing, schooling, and journey with creating BOXFOX. Chelsea made the Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2019 for the Retail and Commerce category. BOXFOX also made the 2020 Inc. 5000 list of America's Fastest-Growing Private Companies.

Thank you for tuning into "Starting Small", a podcast about brand development, entrepreneurship, and innovation in the modern world. This episode is with Alex Lewkowict, Co-Founder and COO of Black Wolf, a mens focused skin care brand. Alex and his brother both suffered from bad razor bumps. They found a product that was sold locally, that really worked, but packaging wasn't up to par. Taking inspiration from this previous finding, they formulated their own bump cream, focused directly towards the simple and under complicated guy. They have maintained simple packing and product names, making their brand stand slick compared to their competitors. Alex and Sam currently run Black Wolf through E-Commerce, and advertise through social media advertisement. Black Wolf products can be purchased on their website at Blackwolfnation.com.

Thank you for tuning into "Starting Small", a podcast about brand development, entrepreneurship, and innovation in the modern world. This episode is with McKenzie Bauer, CMO and Co-Founder of Thread Wallets. Colby, McKenzies Co-Founder and now husband, was on a trip when he happened to lose his wallet. With McKenzies background in sewing, she was able to mock up a new wallet for him out of elastic, offering a more compact and slick option. They noticed the void in the wallet industry, where there were only bulky and unneeded pieces throughout the classic wallet. This led to the creation of Thread Wallets, a brand focused on functionality and expression.
Today, Thread Wallets has expanded their offerings to lanyards, lip balm holders, and many more cultural trends. They can currently be found in pop up stores, malls, and online at threadwallets.com
