Flipkart has been trying to increase its popularity through various fintech experimentsWalmart-owned Flipkart has partnered with global payments company Visa to integrate Visa Safe Click (VSC), an in-app device-based payment authentication feature.

VSC in Flipkart’s app will help users complete online payments without entering one-time passwords (OTP) for purchases up to INR 2K.

Any order above INR 2K will involve the same OTP method as has been prevalent so far.

In July last year, Flipkart partnered with Axis Bank to launch the co-branded credit card, powered by Mastercard’s payments architecture.

Weber is deepening its partnership with smart cooking startup June, with a new product debuting at CES 2020 today that can turn any grill into a smart grill – and providing expert guidance and grilling advice to even novice home cooks.

The new Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub includes a small device with ports for connecting wired thermometers that you can use to monitor the temperature of your meats or other foods as they cook.

The app will alert you when your meats reach the proper temperature for whatever level of doneness you’re shooting for.

Weber previously partnered with June on their forthcoming Weber SmokeFire pellet grill, the first pellet grill made by Weber, which also has smart cooking technology similar to what the Smart Grilling Hub provides, but built-in.

The financing brings The Guild’s total known venture funding to $31.5 million, and follows an October 2018 $8.5 million Series A.

Their aim with The Guild is to give business travelers a comfortable, consistent place to stay.

This, it says, allows for better financial alignment between the property manager and The Guild, allowing the startup to focus more resources on the guest experience.

Noida-based Skilancer Solar recently raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Venture Catalysts.

The latest round of fundraising follows an undisclosed amount the company had raised in May 2019 from an angel investor and serial entrepreneur Dhianu Das’s Venture Capital fund, Alfa Ventures.

The startup provides an autonomous robotic cleaning system which is capable of cleaning the solar panels daily without any manual intervention and without using a single drop of water.

Further, the robot is equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) to analyse the weather condition, power generation, and work accordingly.
