Amanda Paule-Koba joined the podcast to discuss being a faculty member at a hybrid institution. Our newest episode brought in Adam Cohen to talk about the international job market. Adam is a Texas A&M graduate who worked state-side for a handful of years before taking a faculty job at University of Technology Sydney in Australia. We discuss the differences of job searches in the U.S. and abroad, importance of the person's willingness to travel and be far from home, interview process, moving process, and job expectations.

Our fifth episode brought in Dr. George Cunningham as a guest to talk about his role as Editor-in-Chief for Sport Management Review. We talked about his roles and responsibilities as SMR editor, how he and the journal handle split decisions, review time concerns, and special issues. We also talked about the recent spike in SMR's impact factor (and across many sport management journals)and discussed the choice of sending manuscripts out to journals inside and outside the field of sport management.

Our fourth episode continued our discussion on the sport management doctoral experience. Sarah Williams was kind enough to join us and talk about her dissertation experience. We talked about choosing a topic and committee members. We also talked about biggest challenges and advice for those starting their dissertation.
