With great excitement I welcomed singer, guitarist, songwriter, parodyist, actress, comedianne and "professional smart aleck" Carla Ulbrich. Her songs and parodies cover a wellspring of topics from current events to everyday pet peeves to aspects of humanity to pop culture references. She has nine CDs that have aired on numerous radio stations including WFUV, BBC and Dr. Demento. Since the 1990's Carla has performed in many venues and festivals. She brought the stage to life at the Falcon Ridge Festival, Eddie's Attic, The Bluebird Café and many more. Cheryl Wheeler, Vance Gilbert and The Bobs are just some of the entertainers she has opened for or split the bill with. Not a stranger to the screen, she has worked as an extra on many productions, opened for Twiggy The Waterskiing Squirrel, appeared as a musical guest on multiple TV shows including "Up All Night with Rhonda" and appeared in Sharknado 2 (as human). Not letting the pandemic slow down her creativity, she has started a live stream, collaborated with other artists via zoom and created an album addressing issues everyone can relate to. Her engaging personality, charisma, cleverness and relatability made her a magnificent podcast guest!
