State of the Arts Episode 171 is now available on Spotify! In an outdoor in-person interview, I welcome accomplished guitarist, composer, teacher and busker Jack Marcin Wisniewski to my podcast this week! This renowned musician rose to stardom in Poland, where he was originally from. He currently resides in New York where his career on the other side of the Altantic continues to blossom. He is a well-respected musical director and has performed/recorded with Grammy winning musicians. After returning from his first world tour, he continues to work hard in New York. With an affinity for playing Latin music, he brings a new style to the genre. Known for playing with several Latino bands, he has been given the nickname “El Polaco De La Bachata.” Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Mohegan Sun, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Carteret Latin Festival, the Warsaw Fingerstyle Festival and the Lungolango Festival are just a few of the many venues he’s performed at. To have such an accomplished guest on my podcast is a tremendous honor. I had the privilege of interviewing this phenomenal musician in Bryant Park before he went off to busk for the day! A tremendous thank you to him for making this episode the extraordinary one that it is!
