After getting a great reception from our first full segment on pro-wrestling, we decided to dedicate an entire episode to the squared circle. This week John is joined by fellow life long wrestling fans Pat and Larry aka The golden falcon, who makes his debut on the rift to talk all things pro-wrestling. Our hosts have a huge mark out session listing their top 5 favorite current wrestlers and then talk the current state of pro-wrestling from New Japan’s best of the juniors tournament to the recent NXT Takeover as well as WWE’s Backlash ppv.

It’s that time of the year again Rifters, no it’s not Christmas its even better it’s Free Comic Book Day!!!! For the third year in a row we had a live show from the New England comics store in Norwood Ma. This year John has a very special co-host as John is joined by cosplayer Bhecka Sin, but thats not all John and Bhecka get to talk  Jennie Wood the writer of the fantastic graphic novel Flutter. Jennie isnt the only comic writer on this FCBD edition of the Rift as it wouldnt be free comic book day at NEC without Jeff McClelland The writer of The Tick picking up a mic and adding a blend of humor only he can provide.

Even with John a little under the weather the show must go on! on this weeks edition of the show John gives you all the latest comic book news that recently came from C2E2.
