Tonights show is about my recent obsession with barre class. Its almost like taking those pointe ballet lessons again but for fitness and flexibility. It also got me to thinking about why I love these classes. I love them because I love younger men. I wouldnt expect a man to have a 6 pack and I dont. I wouldnt expect a man to NOT be physically in shape and I run full marathons. If we are to be equally yoked...shouldnt that be physical too?

Tonights show was a bit late. I never pre plan these things. I knew I wanted to be on the #mmdts monthly co-ed show. I enjoy their show. What I didnt know was that it would turn into the typical Black woman against Black woman situation. I am not proud I called that woman an old hoe. I judged her and I dont know her. I was wrong. In an unprecedented turn of events a Black man spoke up. It is the thing I have not seen in ANY of my wars. I always have to stick up for myself to feel safe. I always have to eat everybodies face off to feel safe. In one comment he rectified the situation. This is why I say that Black men ARE important. I had a father. So I know what it looks like to be protected and revered. I am often attacked by fellow queens and clowns who simply want to defend the Black men. Yet Kings dont need it. I also had to defend my decision that I DO NOT condone fathers day being about the mothers. I cannot be my sons father. I wasnt born that way. I wanted answers about fatherhood and Black men so I went to the source. This show will detail what happened. I was VERY emotional. You will see I AM human. You will see I am HEALING.

Todays Manic Monday show will be short lived. I will have a full Tell the Truth Tuesday tomorrow. I will also be calling into another show tomorrow night to have input. I will post the details of that show tomorrow. I want to dedicate this show to the late great Muhammad Ali. My family will be traveling to Kentucky to visit my girl. It was already on the list to go to his museum. Its mandatory now.

Tonights show is about the recent death of a gorilla. At noon today I was discussing how this was going to turn racial. Low and behold it did. People came forth and had their opinions. Perhaps the most shocking one is that they would never let their child climb into a gorilla habitat. I am not sure what kind of toddlers they had but I know my experience with my son was very different. I will be telling some parenting truths tonight.

You forget youre black until you cant find work outside of a Burger King uniform. Just because you dated White women and you ate the macaroni salad...they dont care when it comes to being broke...you still a nigga. They will sleep with you and yell rape no different than any other race. Black men are the only men on the planet that will disrespect their own to appear in higher favor of another race that has murdered them for years.Please stop BRUH.

Tonights show is short and sweet because theres things going on in Toronto I need to tend to. I am very happy at this moment because my hibernation period is over. I will also talk about appropriateness in certain communities. I will speak on how I feel when I am being told that ME being heterosexual is some sort of issue if I dont agree with every little thing in other communities. I dont like liars, cheaters or the inconsistent. I dont care if you hump the marshmallow guy from Lucky Charms. Just be monogamous with him then.

I will also be offering my disdain for brochures we now call BOOKS. As a writer that actually puts out books that are over 200 pages single spaced...to call yourself a writer etc. and you dont LIVE in this craft is a little insulting.

So...we spoke about the covenant. I want to speak tonight about my own sacred relationship with my son and his father. I dont speak much about parental things. Mostly because I dont have all the answers. I am not a man. I cannot raise this boy alone. Thats not a ploy for me to exact sympathy or relevance, its a factual statement to add to my list of things I am NOT...which is a man. Although I can teach my son many , MANY, things I DO entrust his FATHER to teach him what its like to be an immigrant in this country. I DO trust his father to teach him a certain level of machismo ...that I cannot. I WILL entrust the next man with teaching my son what it looks like to LOVE his mother. Without those two things, I have failed as a woman in my sons eyes. He perhaps may not even know it.
