Today my show is 2 years old! I am doing an early show because I will be on the Married Men Dont Talk Show tonight. I will post the details on my social media. I want to thank you guys and gals for rocking with me for 2 years. Good, bad or indifferent WE needed dialogue opened up in our communities. I want you to tune into the #mmdts show tonight because I will be a little more open than I am on my own show. I will be discussing motherhood and divorce as well as my reckless verbiage at times. Please keep rocking with me for 20 more years. I only want the best for our people and communities. Most of all I want the best for all of our children.

Sorry my LUVS that I was not available to do last weeks shows. I was rushing back home from Las Vegas and the Hoody Awards festivities as well as tending to family business. Because today is the official opening of CUFFING SEASON and I plan on drafting, I will tell you why it was important that I sat out last season. So here it is a year later and I havent claimed anybody. I dont want to be photographed with anybody, I am not interested in a relationship BUT I am interested in a partnership. I have a relationship with my listeners, buyers, co workers etc. I need something more from a man than just talk. I need for us BOTH to be able to prosper together. I am beyond the age of building with a person. He has to have his own things and I will have my own things. We are forming an empire not the foundation. The foundation has been built. Mine is solid. I know who and what I am. Do you know who and what you are? OR are yall still dating "potential"? At some point you have to date people that are equally yoked on ALL levels. This show will provide you with insight on MY level and what I find attractive and NOT.

The infamous Tell the Truth Tuesday is upon us. From the theft of the First Ladys speech to the theft of some of my words...its NOT OK. I will also be discussing what psychology calls the comparison level alternative or CLalt. I use that term a lot on my shows and in my books. I want you to know what YOU think is me being a BITCH, is really just me rationalizing my worth and your worth to me. NOBODY is asking me to make a decision without me weighing the risks and the rewards. I wont allow it. Sometimes I dont follow my own rules. That is when I end up hurt, or beat out of TIME or money. NONE of that feels good. I will also be discussing my favorite ratchet shows as well as my new favorite series.

Tonights show is about the awful happenings in the last 7 days in this country. I will also be discussing the young queen #leshiaevans who was arrested yesterday in Baton Rouge. If you are not familiar as to why she is going to be iconic....google her. I am at an emotional high because of whats going on in this country but we are NOT our ancestors.

Tonights show is about single mothers. There was a blog I read about a mans disdain about dating single mothers. He pointed out several things that I amy agree with. Then he went into this ridiculous rant about single mothers. Being a single mother due to my divorce hasnt been easy. BUT I have not had any issues dating ....and I will tell you why.

Tonights show is my usual Tell the Truth Tuesday. I will be discussing the speech Jesse Williams gave at the BET awards. I understand why a lot of Black men were angry. It seemed as if all we as women saw were his blue eyes. Then I read a ton of womens posts concerning his speech. It didnt make me want to hear it. I was underwhelmed by the one quote everyone was posting. This angered me a bit. The man brought up several valid points I will touch on. It was a speech only a thespian could have written. I will also tell you what I saw in him when I saw him speak. Theres a reason he is a trained actor.

Tonights show is about the culmination of epiphanies during my birthday week. I was very fortunate to experience camping with my family. I had never been camping before. I got a 12 person tent, food, supplies and packed my family up to go. It was always about a celebration on my birthday. We grew up poor. Birthdays were always a HUGE deal in my family. We were always so strict with finances all year round. My mother made my dresses. We had a garden. We didnt eat any junk food until I was in my teens and yet we never felt unloved because we didnt have THINGS. My father hunted and we ate the meat he killed. We didnt eat out and public assistance meant a man couldnt support his family.  Now that I am able to have THINGS, I prefer to be around MY people during times of celebration. If I looked to my left and to my right and you werent there in body or spirit....you are not MY people. There aint no better way to say it than the fact that youre not my friend, lover or confidant. I wouldnt even let them eat cake. You simply dont exist to me. I dont have time to clutter my life with inconsistencies. MY people are always there and always will be. I dont have to do anything special but be Denise. I appreciate that in my life at this point.

Tonight is the return of my tell the truth Tuesday. Last week I posted a live video from my instagram acct.speaking MY truth last week. This week I have a different truth about dating and relationships. I will be discussing what seems to be every mans dream....to have a woman "hold him down" I will discuss the relationship of rapper Gucci Mane and his fiance Keyshia K'aior. She reportedly was given 2 million to hold onto while he went to prison. In a couple years she turned that 2 million into 6 million. I am going to tell you why that will NEVER happen for most men. Lets start with the fact that you dont have 2 million dollars. Why did you go to jail? Were you dating a boss woman in the first place?

Tonights show is about the fact that cuffing season is over and summer has begun. I will be speaking about whats been going on lately in the world of the clinically depressed, as well as what makes me happy at this time. One day at a time is all I can say. I can hear my mother saying to me those 3 words, "Life Goes On" So while I am hibernating there are people out there that are still living life. My life stopped when she died but there are people still functioning. I just couldnt do that. Its not easy for me. Little things make me happy. If those little things arent done...I become enraged and discard it. FACTS.
