Hi! Today we are talking about America's Sweethearts aka DCC. I was and still am obsessed with the show and the dancing. These women are SO talented. In today's episode I talk about the topics that people had issues with while watching the show and how all of it is tied back to identity.
There are spoilers! So if you haven't watched the documentary on Netflix - go do that first. OR just listen knowing that I will spoil a few things!
Hi! It's Easter Week and here I am, hopping on the podcast to talk about Easter.
I also talk about the Samaritan Woman from John 4.
This is also a HUGE brain dump. Feeling very sentimental and thankful for the cross.
I hope this sparks a conversation and I hope it reminds you of how much God loves you.
I apologize in advance if this feels random and not organized - none of this was planned! HA.
Happy Easter. Jesus wants to know you and be a part of your life.

Hi friends, Happy Thanksgiving Week! I cannot believe Thanksgiving is tomorrow. For so many of us this is a time for family, shopping, and good food and I am so here for it. But for this week's episode, Lauren Bradley and I are talking all about giving back! Lauren is the developmental officer at Children's Hunger Fund and she's going to be talking with us about the organization, how giving back is a part of God's design for us, how we can develop a heart posture for serving, and get involved with the organization this season. We hope you have the sweetest time with family this week and we hope you love this episode!

Faith
When you are unsure - pray and when you are sure - pray some more. Invite God in
God is good even when your circumstances are not
God grieves with you when you are in pain —> run to him
Being sad / depressed is not un-spiritual - there are psalms that express this very thing, so no, there is nothing wrong with you!
Faith is a personal journey but if no one knows about your walk with Christ are you really living in God’s presence?
It is better to show up in person (when possible) than sending a bible verse - be the good news in action and not only in words
Be on guard when life is good - it is SO easy to think you’ve figured life out
Sin hides in secret - be open and honest with a few so that they can hold you accountable
Mentors and premarital counseling makes a good marriage so much easier, enjoyable, and achievable
Whatever you do in this life - do it with everything you have. Work well not for the approval of others but for their good and the Glory of God
Life Hacks
