Have you ever felt alone? Ever felt besieged by your circumstances? David did too, and came out the other side by clinging to his hope in God. Jesus conquered all that pain, all that evil, and so we can pass through the fire by clinging to him.

God is great! That is the focus of this Psalmist, and Pastor Dan's as well.

What kinds of secrets do you have? I'll be they aren't the good things you have done; we like to broadcast those to people whose opinions hold weight for us. Learning not to boast of our exploits, and to reflect on our own sin and God's goodness are important steps to growing in grace.
