Will Gillespie Solo Bi-Monthly Residency at the Capitol Bar. A great cocktail joint and hangout in Hamilton’s East End. An entertaining evening of drinks and songs, the last Friday of every second month.

The 2020 edition of this original song showcase kicks off with Will’s 39th birthday celebration gig and the live debut of over a dozen new tunes, previewing songs from Will’s upcoming “Martians & Martinis” musical and his forthcoming new album “Change of Perspective” both due out later in 2020.

I’m in a band called Spectacular Crash with Mike McKeever, Bryan Yonge and my long time pal Rob Sweeney. We are excited to share the stage with Classy Craig Daniels’ band The Enchanters. along with Danger! Death Ray (A super cool heavy rock surf instrumental band) who are celebrating their ep release.

Spinning music will be the DJ debut of Flesh Kiss (made up of Kate Kiss & Eric Felgner of Flesh Rag)

Chastity (Brandon Williams) hails from Whitby, Ontario, a suburb well removed – both physically and emblematically – from the stirring city of Toronto. Chastity channels the angst of small-town isolation, but focuses most on the bursting, earnest connections formed among suburban, blue-collar youth. The genre bending music of Chastity hovers in a space of oscillating urgency, both melodic and noisey, juxtaposing themes of collectivity and isolation. It is, in short, a perpetual ode to youth culture that winds in and out of the darkest and lightest edges of the self, and ultimately celebrates all it has to offer.

I love the fact that these guys came up on the show after all these years! Some of my favorite memories at the old C101. 5 FM &  INDI 101 FM are of the comedians from Hamilton promoting!
