Season 13, Episode 134 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the recent transactions made by the Pittsburgh Steelers that have occurred since the Monday show. One of the players waived was running back Master Teague III so we discuss that topic and also look at the depth chart at that position.

The Steelers will reportedly have free agent outside linebacker Markus Golden in for a visit on Wednesday so you can bet Alex and I address that news. We also discuss other areas on the roster that could use filling with the team currently sitting at 87 active players.

The Steelers 2023 OTAs got underway on Tuesday so Alex and I address that topic by first going over several things that stood out to us on Tuesday. We also discuss several comments made on Tuesday by several Steelers players. We spend a lot of time focusing on things quarterback Kenny Pickett said. We also discuss what the tackle rotation might look like this summer when it comes to Dan Moore Jr. and rookie Broderick Jones.

Will tight end Pat Freiermuth be used differently this season? We discuss that topic and also talk more about the Steelers lack of YAC in 2022 and how that really needs to improve in 2023 when it comes to the offense.

Season 13, Episode 133 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the recent interview of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett on the Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger podcast that dropped on Sunday night.

We obviously spend a lot of time talking about the comments made by former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on his initial feelings that he hoped Pickett wouldn’t succeed right after the team drafted him.

Alex and I dive deeper into other great talking points to come out of the Pickett interview on the Roethlisberger podcast and there are a lot of those to run through.The new contract details for two other Steelers quarterbacks, Mitch Trubisky and Mason Rudolph, are now out so Alex and I make sure to go over those financials. We also speculate some about the negotiation process with both of those quarterbacks.

Will it be hard for the Steelers to get outside linebacker Alex Highsmith signed to a contract extension this summer? Alex and I debate that topic a little. Alex and I also look ahead to the start of the Steelers 2023 OTA sessions this week and go over key things we'll be looking for.

Alex recently compiled an offseason report for Steelers general manager Omar Khan that we go over later in this podcast. We also make sure to go over the Steelers current salary cap situation later in this show.

In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers signing backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky. We go over the early reported contract numbers that were released and review the team's decision to extend their veteran backup quarterback.

We go over a few smaller details concerning the media appearances that Steelers general manager Omar Khan and head coach Mike Tomlin both had on Thursday. We also cover the news related to the recent new scouting department hires that the Steelers have reportedly made this last week.

On the heels of a full target 2023 XFL contextualization that I did on new Steelers wide receiver Hakeem Butler, Alex and I discuss the findings and give our updated thoughts on the new addition to the position group. We go over the positives and negatives from his XFL tape and what he'll need to show this summer in order to make the 53-man roster.
