In episode 6 we have the book of the week "The Pursuits of Lord Kit Cavanaugh" by Stephanie Laurens. This is a Regency Era historical romance featuring a self made hero, a teacher heroine and mystery to solve and a sweet yet angsty romance. Truly loved this book in so many ways.

In Episode 5 I talk about a really fabulous read "Highland Captive by Alyson McLane which is book 4 in her "Sons of Gregor MacLeod series. This book had so much that you look for in a highlander romance....passion, suspense, great plot points and a delicious romance to savor. You really can't go wrong with this one and I loved the smart sassy characters that come into play. Truly had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. In this episode we get to the raw and gritty and true delights of the latest release of Emma Chases' Getting Played. Which is a contemporary romance which features a teacher hero and a self made life blogger and youtuber for our heroine who is also a single mother. This brings in a second chance love as well. This was a truly beautiful story that is brought into play and you know its Emma Chase....so plenty of LAUGHS. Truly loving this small town Jersey setting. And there is also some great life lessons shared that we can learn from this lovely story.

This is our second episode and this is where I feature one of my all time favorite romance novels. This book has such a special place in my heart and I wanted to share my love for it in the podcast. This will be part of a feature I will be doing at least once a month for you all where I reread an old favorite.

The Highwayman by Kerrigan Byrne is book one in the Victorian Rebels series. Its set in the Victorian era and deals with a second chance romance and a mature couple who have been separated for a long time and have found each other again. Its a beautiful love story to inspire every reader who picks this story up!!
