Miriam Watkins opens her heart and shares her experience building a salsa community. She shares what it was like hosting a large scale Latin festival, opening a dance studio, as well as teaching and learning through the pandemic.

Every time I’m not dancing I miss it! There are so many hurdles that you don’t think about in relation to your passion for dance, growing up, moving, etc. Here’s my journey and why I still miss it and a little about how I filled that void.
