She has won many awards including in 2020 named Indiana (USA) 1st game changer and one of 30 women in Robotics you need to know and most recent award is the Distinguished Engineer Educator Award.
Apart from being an educator she also setup NoireSTEMinist.com to bring Robotics and STEM to a wider audience using social media platforms and other non traditional ways to engage and educate more people of all age groups from different background so as to diverse engineering.
She is passionate about making our profession more diverse and inclusive by taking robotics and STEM out of the classroom onto the streets but ensuring that ethical codes are understood and adhered to, educate her students on the importance designing systems that are not biased but also the need for multidisciplinary work to build a wide range of skills and thinking...
She is an amazing person, an educator, an engineer, a woman and much more besides, to be that positive light that shines bright.
