Are you loving to yourself?
Love yourself, you are who you are now accept it! Stop hating on yourself and love you. People will treat you how you treat yourself. If you don’t respect yourself, how do you expect others to respect you. Take some timemfor yourself. Go get your hair done, your nails or feet. Go and get a massage or go someone where you will be appreciated. Buy yourself a dress and get dressed up. Put on some makeup and look in the mirror and do some love talk to
yourself. Affirm yourself in the Lord!
When our understanding of love is immature, it is usually a sign that there is a breach in our identity from somewhere in our past. The journey of healing our past is a journey of first, identifying the areas we have been wounded; second, forgiving ourselves and those who have wounded us; next, we must deal with shame, regret and fear.
Finally, once we have dealt with those things, we can begin to walk into our authentic self. Our Authentic Self is who God created us to be, our strengths and
weaknesses, free from trauma and pain. "Love endures with patience and serenity - with all humility and gentleness, with
patience, bearing with one another in love," Ephesians 4:2.
We usually use this chapter to see if we are treating others in love but today we are looking at do we treat ourselves in love. We were all made to walk in love and we were made to walk in wholeness. In order for us to do that, we must heal aspects of our past so that we can step into the future. Wilt thou be made whole. When we don’t love who we are, appreciate who we are and accept who we are we create a false image of ourselves.
God loves you and he is waiting on you to rise above it whatever it is.
