As you know I love theatre, not just the shows, but the buildings and architecture too.

My favourite designer is Frank Matcham whose masterpieces include the London Palladium, The London Coliseum and the Grand Theatre in Blackpool. In this special episode I chit-chat to Executive Chairman of The London Hippodrome about the building, the restoration and what it takes to run a venue thats open 24 hours a day. There is a competition too. Listen to the podcast and then you'll hear some questions.

The prize: Dinner for two at Chop Chop Chinese Restaurant and a copy of the stunning book The London Hippodrome: An entertainment of unexampled brilliance. The competition closes on Monday 22nd June at mdidday and you must be over 18 to enter and to use the prize. The prize is valid until 1st September. To enter the competition, email [email protected]
