Manie  Hodge is a seasoned entertainer, his videos  go back ten years beginning with his own podcast, the  producing his own music, making a documentary interviewing people, and  eventually making the transition into comedy.

He is a great impersonator and is known  as "The Black  Trump" I  think he really believes that he is  Donald Trump now.

In this particular episode, I talk about how I became fascinated with radio at about 1 years old give or take.

And about how my interest in radio as a listener, and a participant transcended through CB Radio and eventually into amateur radio  as well as scanners.  This fascination in talking on a radio brought me to my current endeavor as a podcaster.

I further elaborate on my most influential radio show host, the late Phil Schaap of WKCR 89.9fm, and about the depth of hearing a voice as opposed to flashy images.

I play one song from Mel Torme called "That's All'  and in conclusion I would like to say,  "That's all Folks."

Just had a very nice and enlightening  discussion with Landis Maitland-Whitelaw who is a musical composer in  Vancouver, BC. Landis is a retired police officer who has also been an undercover musician since about the age of 12, composing his first piece, a fantasia shortly before he turned 18.   In his mid thirties he studied musical theory at the University of Saskkatchewan. 

He is a very pleasant person to talk to, he loves to talk. You can find him on U Tube, Linkd in, and  Facebook and a lot  of his works are posted with visual images too, he is a photographer as well.

We had discussed the important impact that music has  upon movies as well and how we correlate music  with our memories of  points in time.

Hey Folks,

Just lamenting here, on my idea of  the way things  should be in society, on how  people should  behave and respond when someone  else needs help. I  recall having a teacher back in HS who  used to write on the blackboard  "Real" or "Ideal"?   Meaning, we all have  ideals on the way things should go smoothly, and then we have reality.  He  also used to put a big dollar sign on the blackboard and say "Is this this what  it all  about? yes? no?  maybe..................hey, I don't know the answer"

But now several decades later I see what  he was talking about, the almighty dollar sign, billing, profit, that is what it is all about, get that deposit or fee from your customers, then dump them, ignore them and focus and drawing new clients or suckers.

And that permeates into various forms of business but today I am focusing on healthcare, being a caretaker  for a person with mental illness, I go through a  personal hell and a lack of  response, callousness, BS from "trained professionals"

Whew!!!!  I was worried, I almost thought I lost this episode as it was taking so long to publish!  And my special Guest "The  Booch" is well connected in pro-wrestling, I thought he was going to have one of his wrestling buddies come after me!  But thank God it all worked out.

Vinny is a nice guy, has lots of stories to tell and is a man of many skills:   Comedian, Podcaster, Radio Show  Host, Social Media Manager, Talent Manager for a Pro Wrestler. Plus he has tons of stories to tell ranging from his comedy experience, to shouting matches with pro wrestlers, to his time as a cashier in Home Depot!

Great guy and  now I think I gotta catch up to speed with WWE and AEW, I am about 17 years behind on the latest gossip!
