- song a day - day 9just trying to make a little something every day, nothing precious, nothing too serious. could be a beat, a texture, a weird loop, whatever comes out. some days it clicks, some days it’s a mess, but that’s kind of the point. keeping the flow going, seeing what shows up when you don’t overthink it.3 min

About Steve Sonius
From the publisher's feed
Steve Sonius has been a fixture in Sydney’s underground electronic scene for over three decades. From deep, immersive DJ sets to explorations in ambient sound, his work is rooted in authenticity and experimentation.
As co‑founder of the long‑running Bad Dog parties (2000–2022), he helped shape a community around music and inclusivity. Along the way, he’s played everything from Mad Racket, Happenings, and The Phoenix, to Sleaze Ball, Mardi Gras, and Harbour Party, as well as curating intimate Ambient Guerrilla sessions at Casula Powerhouse.
Now focused on production, Steve continues to evolve his sound — weaving dub, house, and experimental textures into forward‑thinking electronic music.
