Joe and Hamp are BACK in the Stick Lounge Studio — finally! After weeks of going mobile (Live at Creole Soul, Live at the Bayside Ball, and even a wild “swapcast” with Seattle Music Is Real), the crew returns home to break down all the recent remote episodes and the madness behind them. 

This week, Hamp gears up for the Catfish Fry Cook Off, where he’ll be throwing down against multiple restaurants in a battle hosted by Seattle Music Is Real and hip‑hop artist MariBased1. The competition is heating up… and so is Hamp’s trash talk. 

Meanwhile, Cassie decided she was “too tired” to show up — so Hamp steps in with a spot‑on Cassie impression that carries the whole episode. It’s ridiculous. It’s disrespectful. It’s perfect. 

In Hot as Fish Grease, Hamp calls out someone who tried to keep him out of a food truck event with the world’s lamest excuse: “I heard your truck got broken into.”

This week on The Stick Lounge Podcast, the crew is back with another rollercoaster of chaos, conspiracies, and Creole Soul catastrophes. 

We kick things off with Hot As Fish Grease, where Hamp is heated — and rightfully so. Turns out some of the help at Creole Soul has been throwing away his custom black silverware. Not the cheap stuff either. Forty premium spoons… gone. Vanished. Buried somewhere in a landfill like they were evidence in a mob case. Hamp is ready to file a missing persons report for cutlery. 

Then we slide into Paranormal Corner, and things get weird fast. Joe opens the portal with a deep dive into time travel — is it real, is it happening now, and could it explain the bizarre wave of missing scientists around the world? The crew tries to make sense of it, but the answers only get stranger. 

From there, Joe introduces Hamp and Cassie to Project Blue Beam, the conspiracy theory that claims the government is behind everything — from fake alien invasions to global mind control. By the end, everyone is questioning reality, their neighbors, and possibly their own sanity. 

Along the way, we somehow end up talking about Hamp’s low testosterone, Cassie’s night terrors, and whether any of us are actually okay.
