I'm Back!

In this episode, I share the habits God has been building in me and how they've completely changed the direction of my life. From spending time in His Word and prayer to training with purpose, serving others, and becoming more intentional with my time, these habits have drawn me closer to Christ than I ever thought possible.

Acts 13: 2-3

As we fast and pray, we position ourselves to clearly hear God’s direction for our lives. In Acts 13:2–3, we see believers worshiping, fasting, and seeking God—and in that moment, the Holy Spirit speaks and gives clear instruction.

God still moves the same way today. When we create space through prayer and fasting, we become more sensitive to His voice and His calling.

John 14:20

Day 10 of the fast focuses on how God speaks through His Spirit and the still, small voice within us. In John 14:20, Jesus reminds us that He dwells in us — meaning we are never without His presence or guidance.

This episode reflects on learning to quiet the noise, discern the Spirit’s leading, and become sensitive to God’s gentle voice during this season of fasting.

One of the ways God speaks into our lives is through the wisdom and counsel of others. Sometimes we pray for direction, expecting a loud answer from heaven, but God sends someone into our life instead. A mentor, a pastor, a friend, or a brother in Christ who speaks truth when we need it most.

In this episode, we talk about how God uses people around us to guide us, correct us, encourage us, and help us walk the path He has for us. None of us were meant to walk this journey alone. God places wise voices in our lives for a reason.

Romans 10:14

One of the most powerful ways God speaks to us is through the preaching of His Word. When scripture is taught faithfully, the Holy Spirit uses it to convict, guide, encourage, and transform our hearts.

Sometimes the message we hear in a sermon is exactly what God knows we need in that moment.

Job 33: 14-16

Throughout scripture, God often used dreams and visions to reveal His will, warn His people, and give direction. Sometimes God speaks in ways we don’t expect—even while we sleep.

In today’s fast, we reflect on how God can open our ears and hearts through dreams and visions when we seek Him.
