Starla shares a recipe for :

Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork

Ingredients:

1 pack McCormick Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork Seasoning mix (or pack of something similar)

3 lbs. boneless pork shoulder roast, trimmed and cut into 2 pieces

1/2 c. ketchup

1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1/3 cup cider vinegar

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp liquid smoke

Directions:

Place pork in the slow cooker.

In a bowl mix other ingredients until blended. Pour over pork and cover.

Cook for 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH.

Remove pork and shred with 2 forks. Return to slow cooker and mix with juices.

Serve on sandwich or slider rolls.

Breakfast Sausage Cheese Pie
Ingredients - makes 2
2 deep dish pie shells
16 ounces sausage, cooked and drained
2 C sharp cheddar
10 eggs
1 quart heavy whipping cream.   
Divide sausage between the 2 pie shells. 
Divide cups of cheese between the pies and sprinkle on top of sausage. 
Whisk together the eggs and whipping cream. 
Pour 1/2 mixture over one pie and 1/2 over the other
Bake at 350 for 45 min or until knife inserted comes out clean.

Michelle shares a cherry cobbler recipe:

Mrs. Francis Mathis' Famous Cherry Cobbler

Ingredients:

16 oz. canned cheeries

1 stick butter

1/2 c. milk

1 c. sugar

1 c. flour

1tsp almond flavoring

1/4 c. sugar.

Directions:

Mix can of cherries with 1/4 c. sugar in a bowl and set aside.

Melt the butter in a baking dish and set aside.

In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, milk and flavoring.

Pour mixture over melter butter.

DO NOT STIR.

Pour cherries over mixture; DO NOT STIR

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until golden brown.

Nichole shares a one pan fudgy brownie recipe:

Fudgy Saucepan Brownies

 Ingredients:

1/4 cup of butter

1/4 cup of coconut oil

Or you could do a half a cup of either

1/2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips

1 cup of light brown sugar

3 eggs

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1 cup + 2 tbsp of all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 cup of chocolate chip chips or chunks

Instructions:

Melt coconut oil medium heat in a sauce pan. Add chocolate chip chips and stir until melted.

Add brown sugar. Whisk away! Whisking the sugar into the warm butter and coconut oil mixture helps the sugar migrate to the top of the batter as brownies bake which will help create a shiny and crackly top. Takeoff of heat and let it cool for a couple of minutes.

Add eggs, vanilla, and salt. Mix well. Gently fold in the 1/2 cup of chocolate chips or chunks. 

Add flour and baking powder. Gently mix in. Once incorporated pour into a 11 x 7 baking dish lined with parchment paper.  At 350° for 17 to 20 minutes. Do not overbake.

Starla shares a recipe for

Queso Chicken

Ingredients:

2 packs Knorr Mexican Rice

1 packet taco seasoning

1 16 oz. jar salsa

3 c. chicken broth

2-3 cups shredded chicken

2 c. shredded Mexican blend cheese

1 (16 oz) jar queso

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350.

In a 9x13 baking dish, add the Mexican rice, taco seasoning, salsa, chicken broth, and cooked chicken. Stir everything together well.

Sprinkle the shredded Mexican blend cheese evenly over the top.

Cover tightly with foil and bake for 45-50 minutes, until rice is soft and has soaked up most of the liquid.

Remove from oven and spread the jar of queso over the top.

Let sit for a few minutes before serving.

Church Lady Coconut Butter Cake:

Ingredients

1 can cream of coconut (15 ounce)

1 can sweetened condensed milk

1 box butter golden cake mix

1 cup sweetened shredded coconut

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1 cup unsalted butter, melted.

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350.

Grease a 9x13 inch white ceramic dish

Pour cream of coconut and sweetened condensed milk into the dish.

Sprinkle shredded coconut evenly over the top,

Cover with dry butter golden cake mix.

Add chopped pecans.

Pour melted butter evenly over the surface.

Bake for 45 minutes until deeply golden.

Cool for 15-20 minutes before serving.

This week they focus on "Faith" in Part 1 of a 2-part series.

Starla shares a Mini-fruit-pizza cup recipe:

Ingredients:

24 count pre made sugar cookie dough cubes

1 softened block cream cheese

2 TBS butter, softened

1 1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla

chopped fruit

Directions:

Take sugar cookie dough cubes and put them in mini muffin pan (spray pan). Bake per package direction for cookies. When finished cooking, take a spoon or shot glass and place them inside to form a cup. Allow cookies to cool in pan. You can set them in the freezer for about 10 minutes.

In a separate bowl, add cream cheese, 2 TBS butter, 1/1/2 c. powdered sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla. Mix well. Set in fridge.

Take out cookie cups and fill with the icing and top with chopped fruit.
