Support for the Nifty is seen at 18,442, which happens to be previous swing high on the chart. Traders are advised to either wait for 18,442 support or should wait for 18,730 to be taken out for initiating fresh long positions.

Nifty is now headed towards 18,442 in the near term. On upmoves 18,591 could offer resistance.
