Long-time listeners may recall the days when Blackberry couldn’t stay out of the news. And since we are who we are, we discussed the amazing missteps that the company seemed to make on an almost daily basis. As a result of our conversations, we had a listener write in who accused us of being responsible for single-handedly bringing down Blackberry. Whether it’s actually true or not is unimportant because not only hilarious, it’s awesome.
Now, we told you that so that we can say this: Twitter, y’all are on notice. Twitter has been pulling Facebook-like shenanigans by selling user phone numbers collected for security purposes to advertisers. It doesn’t matter who you are, that just ain’t right.
And since Collin managed to figure out that pants go on one leg at a time, we also spent some time talking about the Arrowverse, why Jared Leto is the worst of the Jokers, Blizzard’s international incident, and the PlayStation 5 announcement.
Oh yeah, Zohner also managed to start a feud with Collin. This episode should be worth listening to just for that alone.

After much anticipation and even more speculation as to what sorts of mayhem it would provoke, Joker finally opened in theaters over the weekend. Much to the surprise of some, innocent moviegoers weren’t gunned down as they tried to enjoy a night at the movies. Another surprise is the fact that the film managed to break all sorts of box office records. (At the time of this writing, the movie has passed the $100 million mark in the U.S.)
Something that may not come as a surprise to many is that legendary filmmaker, Martin Scorsese isn’t a big fan of the superhero movie genre. Of course, people had things to say about that since people have something to say about everything these days.
Listen as Zohner discusses these topics plus a rumor that a popular Star Wars character may be returning in The Rise of Skywalker as he holds down the fort while Collin recovers from a tragic pants accident. Yep. You read that right. One leg at a time people… One leg at a time…

The big news this week is something that Jake from Movies That Make Us predicted mere hours after Spider-Man left the MCU: Disney/Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have made up, at least for now. Spider-Man is officially back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but did he ever really leave? Sure, it was announced that he was out, but since no movies were made, was he really gone? It’s kind of like if Kevin Feige is in charge of a Star Wars movie, does Kathleen Kennedy matter? Maybe Samuel L. Jackson will be able to answer these questions once he becomes the voice of Alexa later this year.

Remember how in the 70s, 80s, and even into the 90s every now and then your favorite television show would do "a very special episode?" They usually contained either a brief message from the cast or a title card reading either "Viewer Discretion Advised" or "Parental Discretion Advised" to let viewers know that the episode might be controversial or upsetting. Thankfully, in this "very special episode" of Stolendroids Podcast, we're no more controversial or upsetting than usual. You also don't want to pass this episode over since it's part two of "Crisis on Infinite Podcasts." (To be honest, we like how "very special episode" sounds.) And even though we don't have anyone becoming addicted to caffeine pills, getting drunk from vanilla extract, or using a fake ID to get a job serving beer brewed by warlocks, this is indeed a very special episode.
In the second part of "Crisis on Infinite Podcasts," the hosts from Movies That Make Us and Stolendroids Podcast join forces in a crossover of epic proportions to welcome Cutscenes and Cupcakes! They've been around for a while, but in case you're unfamiliar with them, Cutscenes and Cupcakes is the only podcast where three ladies, each of whom have differing levels of gaming experience, discuss video games and then compare them to desserts.
And even though we try to keep things on topic, you know that we're going to fail miserably. We do manage to discuss piracy, video games, and more random topics though so enjoy the chaos and be entertained.
If you missed part one of "Crisis on Infinite Podcasts," listen to it on Movies That Make Us. The adventure concludes in part three on Cutscenes and Cupcakes this Wednesday!
Welcome to the family, ladies!

Do you remember that feeling you had as a child when you would get a new toy and you couldn't wait to play with it? That pretty much sums up Collin in this episode as he takes every opportunity to test his new mixer. He is like a kid in a candy store. Full of gummy bears. Also, he has gummy bears and a knife. Don't even think about trying to take them.
Despite Collin's distractions, we discuss a new conspiracy at Rotten Tomatoes to make Joker a box office failure. We think that there may be something else at play though.
And since we're talking about DC movies, in hindsight, Zack Snyder's Big Bang (a.k.a. Justice League) with the DC Universe wasn't the rousing success that everyone had hoped for. Warner Bros. will likely have more success though now that they've signed J.J. Abrams to an exclusive deal. And even though we don't know for sure that he'll be working with their DC properties, it's a safe assumption that he'll at least be involved in some capacity. And if he is, you know it's going to be way more successful than MoviePass, right?

Another FanX has come and gone meaning that Collin is in recovery. Nope, he's not dead. Recovery. Take that as you will.
Of course, that means that Zohner is flying solo on this week's episode. And since there's no way that he's going to subject you, our loyal listeners, to him talking to himself for an hour, this one's a quickie. Don't worry though because there are still topics of substance in the show. For example, have you been watching The Boys on Amazon Prime? Dang... That's some good viewing right there... Apple is upset with how Google represented the iOS hack we talked about on last week's show. Are they right to be? Let us know.

We all have our favorite snack. For Zohner, lately, it's been Blue Bell Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Dough ice cream. Collin? He loves gummy bears. In fact, he loves them so much that if you come between him and his gummy bears, you're likely to lose an appendage. That's some serious snack love there.
But you know what else we love? Star Wars. And the footage that came out of Disney's D23 Expo was great. So is the final trailer for Joker. We discuss both on this week's episode. We also discuss a serious iOS hack that basically exposed everyone's everything for about two years (you iPhone users want to be aware of this) and a Foxit Reader data breach affecting more than 500 million users. #hackzohner is not in effect for those of you keeping track at home.

Have you ever noticed how it seems that every movie from the 90s had a fat sidekick? Did you ever wonder what would happen if all of the sidekicks got together and did their own thing? Well, wonder no more because that's exactly what happens on this episode of Stolendroids Podcast!
Sit back and relax as the Three Sidekicks discuss Sony and Disney's messy divorce, more Star Wars news than we know what to do with, and a few new characters coming to the MCU. Collin also apparently doesn't know what a dog looks like. Or maybe it's Zohner who doesn't know what one looks like since he's the only one who seems to see a problem with the "live-action" animation used in Lady and the Tramp. Is he alone or do those "dogs" not look right? (Not the dog dogs... The fake dogs. The real dogs look like dogs which is what they should look like.)

Collin has recovered from his most recent death meaning he's back! And he brought Tom with him! Let the unpredictability begin!
You may remember Tom from such episodes as "Bald Love" and "AI Gets Sniderlickus." And if you liked those episodes, you're going to love this one because it's basically a variety show from the 1970s. We have singing, bad jokes, and sausage. We have a Star Wars actor and The Bachelor. And we even have Muppets!
And if that's not enough to keep you entertained, we also mix in terrified children with bobcats, church, and boiling frogs. You might say that this episode is "Almost Paradise." (We say "almost" because out of everything mentioned, a few are headlines while the rest are tangents and rabbit holes.) Listen, learn, and be entertained.
Seriously though; how cool would it be if Ewan McGregor really did show up and he brought Muppets with him? And if one of those Muppets happened to be Kermit the Frog, we could test out the frog in boiling water theory.

Collin is seriously missing this week. He was last seen at his hotel in the DFW area but then he fell off the face of the earth. The only logical explanation is that some chiggers caught up with him and consumed his flesh leaving his ravaged corpse in the hotel flower beds. There is no other possibility. He will be missed.
While we mourn his loss, Jason Momoa is trying to stop bulldozers, Disney is doing Star Wars related cash grab, and there are a lot of Star Trek veterans returning to Star Trek: Picard. Also, Verizon may be regretting their Yahoo purchase as they continue to sell off pieces of the purchase and Google Pixel owners can finally get paid for the microphone issues of days gone by.
