When we’re battling depression, it can be easy to isolate ourselves. But church is a place we can go when we don’t have it all together. This week, we’re learning how to fight depression from a spiritual perspective. Maybe you or someone you know struggles in this area.

A cause for anxiousness and worry is a mind preoccupied on the temporary and not on the eternal.

We see throughout scripture that anxiety is part of life, but how we chose to respond to anxiety is key in how it effects us.

God created our mind to be a powerful tool. What and how we think, can change our perspective, impact decisions, and influence what we do. It can be easy to think that God only cares about our spiritual health. However, we want to show you that the Bible shows us over and over again how important our mental health is to God. In our series, "Peace of Mind," we will learn how God wants us to have a mind that experiences true peace.
