It serves as a reminder of the incredible new life we can experience in Jesus Christ and the fact that Jesus has ALREADY WON the victory through His resurrection from the grave…

This Sunday(Palm Sunday) at Stonehill is going to be important! We're wrapping up our series on the Trinity, focusing on God the Son - Jesus Christ. It's all about digging into who Jesus really is and why He's such a big deal in the Trinity.

Think of it like this: Jesus isn't just a historical figure; He's the heart of our faith. This Palm Sunday, we're diving deep into why Jesus matters and how knowing Him changes everything.

The Advocate - The night before Jesus' crucifixion he promises them the Father will send another advocate. Who is the advocate? The Holy Spirit. The third person of the trinity. This week, we're going to learn about the qualities of the Advocate. The Holy Spirit does so much to help us get closer to God, so it's important to understand why the Advocate is so crucial for each of us.

Understanding the Trinity is not only important for theology and doctrine, but it's also about enhancing our spiritual journey and strengthening our connection with God. It reveals His multifaceted nature – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – helping us comprehend His profound love for us and how He interacts with us in various ways. Knowing the Trinity also shapes our prayers, worship, and how we live out our faith in a world in need of God's love and grace.

In this final chapter, Paul leaves us with invaluable insights on practical Christian living. From financial responsibility to recognizing God's guidance in opening and closing doors in our lives, and from promoting unity and love to celebrating the wonderful Christian community around us, there's much to learn and apply.

Love is the greatest commandment given to us as Christ followers. Without it, we struggle to do anything that is pleasing to God. Yet the love  described in 1 Corinthians 13 seems impossible to fully live out.
