  • Stonescast - The Post Trophy Final Cast

The FA Trophy Final didn't bring the fairytale ending on the pitch, but it showcased the positive momentum building at Wealdstone.

Chris Lane, Akhil Rawal, Paul Cooke, and Olly Kirk reflect on a massive day at Wembley Stadium. The panel reflects on the pre-match buzz, the game itself and the atmosphere. The panel also tackle the longer term questions: How does Nick Semaca and the board tap into the latent potential of over 14,000 fans?

Can the momentum from the new lease and recent investment be maintained? And how do we convert a spectacular sea of blue merch into a lasting footprint across West London and beyond?

Stonecast is dead chuffed to be sponsored by Rolfe East.

  • Stonescast Special - The management team

In this very special edition of StonesCast, we welcome ultimate club legends Gordon Bartlett and Leo Morris to join us for a trip down memory lane and a look back at their careers, including their 22 year stint at the helm. They are joined by Mark Gill and Micky Johnson who played instrumental roles as part of the coaching staff during a very successful era of the clubs rise back towards the top levels of non-league football.

Adam Hills and Mark Hyde ask the questions in what is a fascinating and insightful 2 hours plus of Wealdstone heritage content. Note that the final 30 minutes are a little disjointed due to technical difficulties experienced by the panel.

  • StonesCast Special - Cookie and Enzio on the final countdown

In the first Wembley trophy final special StonesCast, Tim sits down at Brunel with club skipper Jack Cook and vice skipper Enzio Boldewijn to discuss (exclusively) a behind—closed-doors warm up game; how they are both desperate to recover from injury to play a part on May 17; not having a Y chromosome between them (Enzio with two daughters and Cookie one, with another on the way on the day); and how the Dutchman wants to end his curse of twice being on the losing side under The Arch.

Plus: who could be the Stones with the X factor to upset Southend and win the game, and whether there will be Essex men with binoculars in the bushes watching out for set-piece plays as Gary Waddock’s men ramp up the training before the big day.

    One not to miss!

Thank you to Brunel University for use of their facilities to record this episode, and as always to Rolf East for their continued support of the cast.

  • Stonescast - Old School Pre Wembley Special

Five old schoolers reminisce about Wembley ‘85, the day itself and the days leading up to it, even if those memories are faded either through age or alcohol.

A quick dip into how the badge has been “desecrated” on the Wembley ‘26 merch and are we the Pride of Hillingdon or should our roots be remembered too.  Mark Hyde just about keeps it together as he’s joined by a vexed Jeremy Albert, and more chilled Dave Reader, Sudhir Rawal and Pete Worby.
