Price, who serves as the Florida State PACE Coordinator (Protocol for Assessing Community Excellence in Environmental Health). Bill Murray, founder of Los Angeles Community Policing and host of the "Community Matters" talk show, reflects on the extraordinary accomplishments experienced under Chief Bratton's seven year tenure and explains to co host Sandy Nazemi the process of selecting a new leader at the helm of Los Angeles Police Department, and how the community may be involved.

America's "National Night Out" Against Crime was the theme of this episode of "Community Matters." Bill Murray reports LIVE and on location from a local celebration in progress, as Sandy Nazemi hosts the show. Community events were planned across the country for Tuesday, August 4, 2009, in connection with the 26th Annual National Night Out crime prevention program, a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch. LA Community Policing promotes and follows these events each year.
