Let’s talk about impostor syndrome. It seems we all face it at some point during our lives, and lately, it’s almost like everyone has the same fears of being inadequate. Am I doing my job right? Am I really talented? Am I really deserving of everything I have? These are just some of the questions that can plague our mind if we give in to impostor syndrome. Unfortunately, if we begin to believe these self-doubts, we might run into actual problems that hinder our progress through life.
In this episode, we’ll go through different strategies to combat this inescapable part of being alive. I’ll give you actionable steps to realize that no one is scrutinizing your every move, and that you’re indeed a talented, well-rounded person whose achievements are worth celebrating. We’ll focus on progress over perfection and on challenging negative self talk. We’ll make sure you have the tools to step outside of that self–defeating rut you might find yourself in.
If you need a little help getting started, I’ve made you a progress journal below you can follow to start tracking your own successes. Send me a message to let me know if this is something you have found helpful in dealing with Impostor Syndrome.
Whether we like it or not, we are all products of our upbringing. Whether it’s through our family history, or just our surroundings, we’re shaped by everything that has led us to today. When it comes to following our dream, we’ll always be influenced by our past, by our legacy; but there comes a time when we must also take our own steps toward our dream, taking agency over our own future.
In this episode, we’ll take a look at all of the different experiences and factors that may have an influence on our dream pursuit, all the while realizing that we only have one life, and must take the reins to our own destiny. How can we forge our own path? What must we do to reconcile with our past and our influences? And, how can we seek out support from our loved ones to provide guidance and encouragement along the way?
As you reflect on your family legacy and your own unique calling, consider how you can honor your past while also forging your own path. Embrace the lessons of the past, but also have the courage to pursue your dreams and live authentically.
In a world often dominated by self-reliance and independence, it's easy to overlook the power and courage it takes to ask for help. Join us as we delve into the transformative journey of understanding the true nature of seeking assistance. We’ll challenge the stigma associated with asking for help and celebrate it as an act of resilience and empowerment.
Beyond being beneficial to our own growth, asking for help can help us develop deeper relationships, even having transformative results on those around us. We’re social animals, so let’s start relying on our community so we can all move forward toward our dreams!
As humans, we have the incredible gift of being able to “feel all the feelings.” Moments of great joy, great sadness, all of these are wonderful things. However, letting our feelings and letting our emotions out of our control can also have negative effects on not just us, but those around us. We must understand how to navigate our feelings, and direct them in the directions that best work for our dream.
Self-awareness and self-regulation are but two of the most important tools in the path to control our emotions. It is by looking at the mirror (seeing the plank in our own eye), that we can make moves away from obstacles in our lives, or potential stressors (taking the speck out of your brother’s eye). We’ll take a look at the Jesus’ Way and what He can teach us about regulating our emotions to succeed. NUBvOFYeVLSprBYQrRZe

Facing Failure: Taking Ownership of the Little Mistakes in Our Lives
Failure is a part of life. It sucks to hear that, but it’s true. Any journey, any path, any goal you’re trying to reach will often be met with failure. But more often than not, we’re not afraid of what that failure may bring, but rather, we’re afraid of failure itself. Fear keeps so many stuck, immobilized, unfulfilled, hopeless, thinking “What if we fail? What if it doesn’t work?”
In today’s episode, let’s shine the light on this sinister enemy. Lurking in the shadows of every dream pursuit failure does it’s best to keep us stationary. Yet, you will discover today that simply shining the light on failure, owning it, takes away its power and puts power back into our hands!

The Man In The Mirror: How Self-reflection Helps You Grow & Succeed
It’s the beginning of a new year, and there’s no better time than now to look back and reflect on all of the things that shaped us for the better… and for the worse. These are times of self-reflection, but we shouldn’t limit ourselves to once-a-year, new year resolution self-assessment. Rather, self-reflection should be a constant mental exercise that, just like its physical counterpart, must be trained with discipline.
Everyone can take advantage of self-reflection, and this look deep into ourselves can and must happen often. Believe it or not, the path to solving exterior problems and stressors almost always begins with a look inward. So let’s start off the year with the right foot and get excited to meet that man in the mirror.

The Art of Gratitude, It’s Not Just For Thanksgiving Anymore!
Thanksgiving is a beautiful time of year where we get to look back and express our gratitude to all the people and things that have helped us on our path. The fact we have made this day into a national holiday is very special, because, in a way, we’re societally encouraged to reflect on everything and everyone that we should be thankful for.
Gratitude was never intended to be a one-day, mandated experience. Rather, gratitude is a gift and an art form that we can and should master. Taking time each day to practice gratitude can help us look inward and recognize where we are in our journey, identifying all the ways we have succeeded, as well as all the ways we can still continue to grow and learn.
