  • The Angel of Breath
To call Radhika Vekaria an artist, pianist, or songwriter singer would be grossly understating the magnitude of her multidimensional abilities. Yes, she happens to be all those things mentioned but those gifts are just her pathways towards expressing her deep endless love for humanity. In fact, her loving compassionate nature is in her name, RADHIKA. It is a Sanskrit derived name given to her by her father. Her name essentially means never-ending-love and she most definitely exudes such qualities. Radhika comes to us earthlings equip with an array of tools in her spiritual tool kit. Another avenue in which she heals humanity with her infectious love is through Breathwork. This is a Vedic science practice in which she instructs you through a series of Pranayama breathing techniques. The purposes and effects of Breathwork on human health and the psyche are boundless.
Radhika is an obvious proponent of several eastern philosophical and spiritual practices. She wields around her knowledge of this world like a Knight wields a sword in battle. But there is no war or malice in her. Much like the Hindu goddess Radha, she is here to inspire us all to a higher consciousness. Something tells me we are all only at the embryonic stages of learning of the many magnanimous gifts that this particular being has in stored for this world.

  • I Claudia (Aging in America)
81 year old Claudia Tado is a tour de force. She dances through life marching to the beat of her own drum. Claudia has though me a lot about expressiveness and openness. She is a hurricane of emotions. She is the first to tell you how much she loves you and appreciates your very being but also the first to bark the words, “Get out of the way” when she’s in a hurry. Claudia is refreshingly transparent. This creates a low atmospheric pressure to any environment she enters. Plus it’s quite freeing to be in the company of one with such verbal spontaneity. Claudia is likely to say anything at anytime. This often makes being in her presence quite entertaining. Her use of the English language is often peppered with profanity. So church goers are challenged to listen without prejudice.
I enjoyed doing this podcast. I enjoyed listening to Claudia express her tumultuous and yet joyous life experiences. She is openly shares her story with the ease and comfort of talking to close friend. I thank you Claudia for your openness and I thank you for inspiring me to pursue a more passion filled life.

  • Love and Politricks
    LOVE AND POLITRICKS
Sean and Terie happen to be two of my oldest friends. I was interested in them doing this podcast because they are a married couple who both voted for and support different political parties. This was very intriguing to me due to the political polarization of the country right now. That country happens to be the “United States”. At the moment this seems to be a very oxymoronic title for our nation. Despite our country’s political quibbles, Sean Elliott and Terie Gallo seem to be trodding along, treating each other with LOVE and RESPECT. Two words which happens to fit in their mantra for keeping a relationship together. I thought perhaps we could learn from them. Find out the method to their gladness.
We also discussed Political Correctness, Woke Culture and being a married, interracial couple in the South. I found their simple common sense wisdom to be refreshing.

  • Chats with Tats
My guest Tats Nkonzo is an international comedian who’s star is steadily rising. I see him as part of the “Leaders of the New School”. These are a new brand of comedians who are representing a global perspective. Tats is repin’ his hood but his hood is also the world. Like the USA, South Africa is a collage of cultures, cooking in a stew. This created the perfect cultural meals for Tats Nkonzo to have digested a microcosm of the world. He is armed with an arsenal of world wide, pop culture references, literature, music, trivia and media.
This wide range perspective is why I find Tats’ humour to be so interesting and new. In this podcast chat, we learn a bit more about him as a person as he gives us his perspective on, getting Covid-19, Aging, Post Apartheid humour and more...
Tats is a very humorous conversationalist but this humour is also laced with a philosophical edge. This made for a fun podcast chat. It was a lot like having a conversation with a hilarious philosophy teacher.

  • COP - Community Outreach Policing
Los Angeles Police Officers Julie Nony and Kristina Montoya are attempting to make a difference in their communities by repairing the trust between citizens and the LAPD. They were more than happy to join me in a conversation, in which they proudly talked about the Los Angeles Police Department’s many reform programs. My candid dialogue with these two Community Relations officers varied from the George Floyd incident to cop themed stripper grams. They seem to have a Zen approach to policing, which caught me by surprise.

  • Stop Drop and Rawle - Trailer
Who are we really? I mean, who are we beyond our labels of Black, White, Fat, Thin, Young, Old, Rich, Poor? What is our story beyond that? I believe everyone has got a bit of wisdom in them. In this podcast, I will have fun and fascinating conversations with citizens from around the world, who travel in various paths of life. We will listen to their stories, learn, laugh and love. My hope is that their stories will feel a lot like our stories, as our worlds begin to merge.
