COG STUDIOS, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy played an ugly game against the Chicago Fire. No one should talk you out of that analysis. And if they do talk you out of it, have their sight checked.

But you also can't simply dismiss what was a gutsy performance, played in challenging conditions, against a team that wanted to play anti-soccer more than score goals. So does that make you feel any better?
