Mohan was very happy as it was a Sunday. He could relax as did not have to go to school. Their maid Shanta Bai was not coming today as she had to attend some function. Mohan somehow did not like Shanta Bai as somehow he felt his mother was spending more time with her, giving her instructions, supervising her work and less time with him. Today he will spend time with his mother with no disturbance. He ran to the kitchen. Mummy was busy making the food. Side by side she was also laying the table for breakfast.

Once upon a time there was a king who had seven Queens. He was a very humble, generous and very understanding person. Of all his Queens he was very fond of his youngest queen and would spend more time with her. The Little Queen too was very much like him. The other Queens never liked this as they wanted the king to be with them and just do as they pleased. They would complain and had so many demands for themselves that the king never enjoyed being with them. On the other hand the youngest Queen would spend her time either in household chores. Despite being a queen herself she was never ashamed of doing her work. She treated all her servants with respect and because of her loving nature she was very popular and respected in the kingdom.

Akku is a six year old girl. She lives with her parents, grandparents, uncle and aunt. Hers is a large family. Akku loves her family very much.

One day Akku feels extremely bored and goes to her mommy. "Mommy, I want to play with you." "Sweetheart, I'm a little busy right now. I'll play with you after I finish my work." says mommy. Akku feels sorry for her mother because she has a lot of work to do and cannot play with her. "Never mind mommy. I'll go and play with daddy." says Akku smilingly.

Tara and Sarah were sisters. They were extremely naughty. They lived with their parents in a big city. Tara and Sarah were very close to their grandmother. She lived in a village but visited them occasionally; and whenever their grandmother paid them a visit, the girls felt very happy.

One day Tara did not wake up on time and was late for her online school. Later on she got scolded by her class teacher for not completing her homework. Tara was hoping to spend the rest of the day without any turmoil. But by lunch time she got into a brawl with Sarah and by mistake broke her mother's favourite antique piece. Mother was very upset and rebuked the sisters.

There were two friends in a forest a mango tree and a banyan tree. They talked to each other all day long. Every night lions and tigers came and slept under them. The mango tree did not like the animals. "I will drive them away." He said, "They roar loudly and smell bad."

A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery. He answered the call asap changed his clothes and went directly to the surgery block.  He found the boy’s father pacing in the hall waiting for the doctor.

On seeing him the father yelled, “Why did you take all this time to come? Don’t you know that my son’s life is in danger? Don’t you have any sense of responsibility?” The doctor smiled and said, “I am sorry I was not in the hospital and I came as fast as I could after receiving the call and now I wish you’d calm down so that I can do my work”.

“Do you love Me? Alice asked.

No, I don't love you! replied the White Rabbit.

Alice frowned and clasped her hands together as she did whenever she felt hurt.

See? replied the White Rabbit.

Once upon a time there was a man who wanted to be the richest man in the world. He used to work hard. He was mostly on tours and rarely used to get any time to spend with his family. He had worked long and hard to acquire massive wealth and retire in luxury and could not believe that his time was up. Being a very wealthy person he decided to buy some more time from the angel of death at any cost. He bargained for a long time but the angel was unmoved.

Eshal loved school. But she also hated it.
