I have worked in a few different fields but in all of my jobs, I have always been most excited about data and numbers. The things that will make me a successful data analyst are that I am able to visualize many parts of a project and am a creative problem solver.

Solving problems is one of my favorite things to do. From daily challenges to long-term projects, SQL scripting to database diving, the more complex, the better. My current work experience involves childcare services and retail, and I am excited to now invest in the Data Analysis industry. With a natural penchant for creative solutions, I look forward to contributing to the dynamic and swiftly growing field of data exploration and visualization.

For the past five years, I've been a college minister at MTSU and also the University of Oregon. I'm currently building a foundational skill set for a career as a Data Analyst because of my passion for helping others make informed decisions. I also have a background in accounting which has helped develop this skill set even further. I'm excited to explore even more what it means to be a Data Analyst and the impact it has on the world!

I have always been passionate about problem solving, more so if my problem solving helps others. Data Analytics truly combines my passion of working with real world data and my love for helping others. It allows me to help others reach their own goals, as well as my own personal goal. My goal is to always continue to grow and improve myself within the data field and outside the data field.

Wilson Bell graduated with Web Development Cohort 57.

I had no prior experience with coding prior to having NSS recommended to me by friends that thought I would do well at it. One of the main things that drew me to the program was growing up doing a lot of mechanical work on my family's farm and always enjoying the trial and error process of diagnosing and solving a problem or making something work that previously didn't. Coding provides much of that same experience, you're presented with an issue and you use the tools and knowledge at your disposal to come up with a logical solution. I've greatly enjoyed the variety of personalities that exist in the Software Development world and cannot wait to meet more and contribute my own unique insight to a team.

When I was 9, I discovered a platform called Scratch that sparked my love for programming. But it wasn't until my cousin told me about NSS that I thought I could realistically make it a profession. After 4 years in the food industry, I knew I wanted something more. Since embarking on my software development journey, NSS has taught me many valuable skills and concepts. It has helped me see how high my potential truly is, and I look forward to tackling what the real world of development has to offer.
