I'm a person who loves the outdoors and coding. I took a class on PL/SQL back in college and it was my first exposure into programming. I took a leap of faith and joined NSS and it was the best decision I ever made.

Before NSS, I was in the supply chains & logistics fields. My background was in business and I spent a couple years as an operations manager/supervisor for a couple of e-commerce businesses, including handling supply for Apple. I've been very thankful for the opportunity that NSS provided me. The thing I've enjoyed the most is continually learning something, no matter how small. It's cool to see how far I've progressed in such a short time. Outside of that, a fast fact about me is that I caught every Pokemon legit in Red except for Mew.

I am a native of Nashville, Tennessee with a passion for tech, scuba diving and extreme sports. I also enjoy watching hockey and doing just about any outdoor activity. I tend to be a Maximizer, hyper-focused on a project until it is adequately next level.

With experience ranging from counseling in multiple settings, sales, project-based work building health insurance networks for big names including Medicaid, and currently sales operations, Austin brings an eye for the big picture, a mind for how to paint it, and a steady hand to brush it to life. He earned a Master of Science degree in counseling but left the traditional application in order to make an even bigger impact by transferring his skillset to business. Data impacts people, and Austin is passionate about seeing the right story told so that it drives positive changes and fills practical needs. He loves learning anything new, but if you're teaching him about your childhood he may or may not charge you by the hour.
