After working in banking wire operations for some time, I decided to take a leap and pursue software development! I needed some excitement, an outlet to express my creativity, and a role that enabled me to learn something new everyday.. and pay a few bills. On top of developing outstanding software, I'm a pretty chill, very funny thanks to 'The Office', and can cry on command. I welcome all opportunities to showcase any one of those skills!

After graduating in 2019 and getting my cosmetology license, I decided to do hair full time. It was amazing until the pandemic started, and then I was unemployed for three months. This really got me thinking about other career opportunities, and thankfully I stumbled upon Nashville Software School. Applying to NSS was one of the best decisions of my life and every day in class reminds me of this. I am so excited to start my career as a Software Developer.

As a lifelong artist, creativity has been the driving force in my life. After years of doing retail and warehouse work, I had a mid pandemic realization that I had owed it to myself to pursue a career that fueled that passion for creativity. I have always been interested in technology, so software seemed like a natural fit, and I haven't looked back. Getting the opportunity to flex those creative and deductive muscles, and learn something new every day, has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
