I am software engineer looking to apply my skills and talents as a full stack developer on an engineering team where I may contribute to projects and refine myself as a software engineer along the way! I have created frontend projects in JavaScript using React and Next JS by myself and as a member of a team of follow developers. I have also created full stack projects using the same frontend tech stack along with Python and Django for the backend also on my own and on a team. I have truly enjoyed my journey becoming a software engineer! I am ready to bring what I've got to the table and be a part of something great!

There is a reason the other paths I tried in life didn't work out, it's because I would find my here in engineering. Very proud of how far I've come, especially in less that a year I've dedicated myself to becoming a software engineer. Aside from my new career, I am an artist and gamer, which I find to be largely helpful in my development. I am a proud women in tech and I look forward to the future!

I am a student of life, always looking to grow my knowledge of subjects I am passionate about. My first introduction to coding came from a friend who mentioned he was self-taught. Shocked that you could learn the basics for free online, I began my journey immediately. Getting laid off from an industry I was truly unhappy in was the catalyst that led me to Nashville Software School. I value critical thinking over encyclopedic knowledge and inherit curiosity over judgment in everything I do. My meandering career path gives me a unique perspective that I plan to utilize on my journey.

With a background in education and healthcare, I decided to swap textbooks for code and dive into the exciting world of software engineering. My globetrotting adventures to six different countries have given me a wealth of life experiences and a fresh perspective, while my experience working with others has honed my communication and collaboration skills.
