Here's something that's pretty strange when you really sit down and think about it. 

For most of our most popular stories, movies, TV Shows, novels ... we kind of know the ending before we start.

It takes Harry Potter seven books to defeat Lord Voldemort, but our brains con confidently predict it from the start of book 1.

Yet still we read, enraptured.

Why is that?

It's because – in stories – the 'how' matters.
