Stories of Resiliency offers a series of Anishinaabe elder teachings recorded and illustrated by young leaders of the Giinawiind Giginitaawigi'gomin Program of the American Indian Community Housing Organziation. In Progress artist Kristine Sorensen has been working with AICHO since 2010 and had the privilege of supporting these efforts as a teaching artist and mentor in partnership with Giinawiind's Program Staff Kayla Jackson, Mia Mendez, and Elena Steele.
