Stories of Resiliency

Stories of Resiliency offers a series of Anishinaabe elder teachings recorded and illustrated by young leaders of the Giinawiind Giginitaawigi'gom​in Program of the American Indian Community Housing Organziation. In Progress artist Kristine Sorensen has been working with AICHO since 2010 and had the privilege of supporting these efforts as a teaching artist and mentor in partnership with Giinawiind's Program Staff Kayla Jackson, Mia Mendez, and Elena Steele.
